Our Community > Residents > Residential Services > Seasonal Services Seasonal Services for the Town of Bremen Every season comes with its own set of challenges, but we're here with a smile to help. In Bremen, we've always been dedicated to making life easier for our residents, whether it's clearing leaves in the fall, handling Christmas tree disposal during the holidays, or ensuring safe and snow-free roads during the winter. Your town is here for you, no matter the season! Fall Leaf Pickup Bremen's leaf collection program normally begins in the middle of October and will continue through November or until leaf pickup is no longer a need for residents. The Bremen Street Department picks up leaves from North/South streets on Mondays and Wednesdays. East/West Streets are picked up on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please place leaves in your tree lawn next to the curb. Please DO NOT have grass clippings, sticks, or garden waste in leaf piles. Christmas Tree Pickup The Bremen Street Department begins picking up Christmas trees the week after Christmas and continues through the last week of January. Residents should place their Christmas trees at the curb for pickup. Fall Leaf Pickup/ Chritmas Tree Pickup Snow Removal The Street Department has 7 pieces of snow removal equipment. During a large snow event the streets are plowed first and then the alleyways are plowed. There are 7 routes that are taken care of. Each route takes about 4 hours on a normal snowfall. With the assistance of the Water Department we will have 7 guys out plowing during an average snowfall. We ask that people clearing sidewalks and driveways not to place the snow in the street as this can create a hazard to motorists.
